Windows says “unknown publisher”?
- This plugin is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns once about an “unknown publisher” — expected, not malware.
- Click “More info” in the dialog.
- Then “Run anyway” to start the install.
After installing
- Restart Illustrator (CEP scans extensions only at startup).
- Open Window → Extensions → Packview.
- Pick a box family → enter dimensions → “Generate Dieline”; the dieline lands in your current document.
Uninstall: Control Panel → Programs and Features → Packview Dieline Panel. It removes only the panel and never touches Illustrator's developer-mode setting.
Manual sideload (developers)
For local verification after source changes: npm run build:panel -- --locale en-US --site packview.app, then npm run deploy:panel. See plugins/illustrator-cep/README.md.
